Marie Matsuoka

Chief and Intercultural Coordinator of the Hamamatsu Foundation for International Communication and Exchange (HICE)

After working at the Toyota International Association and experiencing life in Vienna, Austria, she joined the foundation in 2006. Since completing a multicultural society coordinator training course at the Center for Multilingual Multicultural Education and Research at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies in 2008, she has been involved in the center’s multicultural society coordinator research. Experiences the complexities associated with foreign cultures every day through neighborhood self-governing association activities and foreigner consultations.
